Through compassionate and evidenced based care, we empower people to rebuild confidence, regain essential living skills and enable a high quality of life. Our mission is to provide every individual with the best opportunity to live fully and thrive in their own home, workplace and community environments.
Based in Northern Ireland, Enable OT was founded in 2025 with the goal of supporting those living with an illness or injury to achieve their full potential and regain independence in all aspects of their daily living. With longer waiting times in our NHS, Enable Occupational Therapy strives to create a service that is accessible, innovative and rooted in a genuine desire to make a difference.
We provide in-home, in-clinic and equipment provision services tailored to the needs of the people in our care.
What is Occupational Therapy (OT)?
Occupational Therapy enables individuals to participate in daily life to improve their health and well-being. Daily life is made up of many activities (occupations). Occupations may include self-care (getting ready to go out or eating a meal), being productive (going to work or volunteering), and leisure (socialising with friends or doing hobbies).
OT’s can help individuals of all ages regain their independence. OT’s work with individuals for a period of time to help them achieve their focused goals, overcoming challenges and creating opportunities.
